Light It Up Blue!

Hello friends! It's been ages since I blogged, but when I heard about this hop I just had to join. I am on the autism spectrum, but we didn't know until I was well into adulthood. I am continually amazed at these beautiful people who bring so much light to our world. So LIGHT IT UP BLUE!

People on the autism spectrum love to celebrate accomplishments. I wanted to share in someone's joy, so these cards will be shared with a local autism home for them to use.

Butterflies in blue - I just love all the diversity of textures in this project. A little ribbon, a little paper clip, embossed grids and a sponged-through stencil.

I love using my Copic markers to color. The activity calms me and makes a little nest of finished images to go to when I need something in a pinch.

I'm very grateful for the people who help me every day. Sometimes it's inclusion in an activity, and sometimes it's understanding when I cannot go and do at the last moment.

I hope you have a wonderful time on this hop, and THANK YOU for joining us! You can go back to the beginning of the hop at this link.

Ta for now,

~ky

  27. Thank you so much for sharing your own story! As a mom I know it was much easier to help my kids cope (and still is) knowing more about how autism can affect their perceptions, and I can only imagine that for you it was the same. I love your cards :) Thanks so much for joining in this blog hop that is making my heart sing :)
