Seasons Givings Blog Hop

WELCOME!

You're on your way along this Seasons Givings blog hop! You should have come here from Bunny Vance. If you've just happened along, please feel free to start at the beginning with Lawn Fawn and hop on through!

I'm just thrilled to let you know how much your visit to my little blog means to me. From all of us, we send our love to you. It's our way of brightening up the dreary winter by thanking our dear readers! Every blog on this hop will be offering a free prize of the bloggers choice.

Two of my readers will win 1 of 2 prizes - one for card makers and one for bible journalers. Please tell me which you are in your comment, and how you were drawn into these crafts. I love learning about you! Also, what crafty tool are you currently obsessed with? Did you get something special at Christmas?

Card makers will win the A Good Day stamp set. This sweet set will be your go-to for simple cards with a well-rounded set of sentiments. Besides...it has a BUNNY!!! LOL How could I resist?

For the card maker.

Bible journalers will win the Doodles To Live By (retired) journaling kit by Illustrated Faith. This kit includes a stamp set, a 14-day devotional, an alpha-sticker set, a set of  other stickers, die cuts, a magnetic bookmark, tip-ins, washi tape and a cool bag to keep it all in!

For the bible journaler.
The fine print - this giveaway ends at midnight Central Standard Time, January 5, 2018, is open to US addresses only, and the winners will be notified by email and will also be stated in a winner's post on this blog. If the drawn winner does not respond by January 7th, a new winner will be drawn. Only one comment per person will be counted in the drawing.

After you leave me a comment, hop on over to my dear friend Giovana at her blog, Believe. Don't forget to like my Facebook page, find me on Instagram, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Be sure to give me a way to contact you if you win (email, Facebook, smoke signals, etc.)! Thanks so much for stopping by - I hope your New Year will bring lots of blessings and laughter!

In Christ's service,
~ky

  1. Thank you for the fun giveaway! I am a card maker and actually began as a scrapbooker years ago but always had trouble working around the photos. Cards are a smaller project and I can try new techniques without worrying about photo layouts. I love using my Big Shot die cut machine and trying to improve my coloring skills. Happy 2018!!

  2. I love papercrafting. This past may, I received an Inspired Bible for creative journaling. Either prize will work for me as the bible journaling giveaway would encourage me to get busy. I think I have only colored or journaled in it 3 times since I received it.

Big shot is my stamping go to tool, can't seem to make a card without. My daughter gave me a new iPad for Christmas so I can be inspired by Pinterest anytime...anyplace!

  28. I started as a scrapbooker...just hoping to keep a record of God's goodness to our family. That led to card making which I also adore. Last year, I started with some Bible journaling and am still working on my style, but find it to be a blessing. My favorite Christmas gift was a shopping spree at a stamp store we found while traveling. Everything was half off...I purchased more goodies than I have ever had at one time. Right now, I am obsessed with finding my TH scissors that went missing during a last-minute crafting frenzy to complete a scrapbook for gift giving. Glad to have found your blog!

  39. I am a card maker who started as a scrapbooker back in 1988 when my son was a baby. I've just been doing paper crafts continually since then! I've always been obsessed with punches and punch art, and my newest tool obsession is using dies in my big shot. Something special from Christmas for our family was seeing my mom healthy and thriving again! Just one month earlier, the doctors said that she experienced a miracle that has no medical explanation. To go from scared to death a month earlier that my mom had a fatal disease (P.C.---I can't even say the two words now!!), and to have her no longer have any sign of it was definitely something special for us to be thankful for at Christmas. Thanks for giving away awesome prizes for this blog hop!! Happy New Year!

  46. I don’t know what Bible Journaling is, but it intrigues me. I’ll have to research that. So I guess I’m a card maker, for now. :-)

I bought my first stamp set years ago with a promise to myself that if I did get into this craft/hobby, I would not purchase greeting cards, and I’d always make them. That was about 20 years ago, and I’ve been true to my promise!

My current craft tool obsession is the MISTI. I don’t know how I’ve lived without it til now!

I didn’t get any special craft supplies for Christmas, but my DH did get me 5 lovely Pandora charms, and I think they are extra special, and so is he!

    ReplyDelete

  112. I started paper crafting when I went in our local office supply store and it had a scrapbooking section. I went to a class and started scrapbooing a trip to Thailand I took with Compassion International and then my puppy. From there, I moved to stamping and making cards. It was faster and I didn't have a lot of scrapworthy events in my life! I'm not exactly obsessed with it, but I love the MISTI and use it almost every time I am able to make a card. I love that you have a Bible Journaling package to give away. I am a Christian but have never done Bible Journaling, so if I am chosen I would prefer the stamp set, however I'm sure I could find something to do with the other package as well. Happy New Year!

  113. I'm a card maker, and I started because I wanted to let my nieces know I was thinking about them while they lived overseas last year (with their parents, of course). I used to write long letters to my siblings while they were overseas, but my nieces are currently 3.5 and 2, so even now, words aren't really their thing, so I got into making cards. The sweetest fruit of this was at one point when I visited them, and I was watching a card-making video, and my older niece pointed to the screen and said "Auntie Lisa card!" so I know that she knows who they're from and that I love her and her sister. But anyway, will you believe that one of my favorite tools is scor-tape? I used to completely hate liquid glue. Now I get it somewhat, but I still love the ease of scor-tape and the knowledge that it will stay together no matter what.

  119. I make cards. I haven't yet started Bible journaling. I was undergoing radiation several years ago and entered a contest for a bunch of craft things. To my surprise I won and got all sorts of goodies that started my cardmaking. I'm learning to use Distress Oxide Inks now and having a ball! Thank you for your wonderful giveaway!

  121. I am a card maker, but I do also love the scriptures. I started out trying to scrapbook my children's lives. But I have 7, it's hard to get caught up. I love my Misti stamping tool and a good paper cutter! I didn't get a single scrapbooking item for Christmas, does my family EVEN know me?? Ha ha. Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Bunny Nest! I host rescued animals in a small in-home setting. Currently, I host 3 bunnies and 2 kitties. These animals will be socialized and housed for the entirety of their lives in my home. They inspire my crafts, and I use any proceeds to pay for their needs. Thanks for visiting!
