Yeah I've been a slacker. On the blog-front at least - I've been very busy on this side of the computer. Here's a little card I made recently for the Cat's Pajama's stamp company. I just love this particular release so much! 

Alma, the owner of this fantastic line of products, picked this card (and me) to be the Swanky Stamper of the month of March! THANKS ALMA! That means I'll get to share some pre-release product and sneaks with you. Squee!!

This card was so much fun. I loved stamping multiples, coloring them with Inktense pencils, then 'fussy' cutting them out. Here's your Sparkle posse! Don't know about you, but if they were gunning for me I'd run! Ok - gotta go start dinner. Hopefully things slow down just a bit so I can share more goodies. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Newton's Nook Challenge

My dear friend, Mere, whom you probably know as Crafty Math Chick, introduced me to a relatively new stamp company called Newton's Nook Designs. They are having a challenge using a sketch, and they have a free digital image available, too! Here's my take on their challenge:

I used some My Mind's Eye paper, some cool flower and brad elements, and one of my new Tonic punches (which aren't really that new, just new to me!). I love these colors, and Newton's Nook images are really cute. You should check them out!

Love You a Latte!

Happy weekend! Here's a little card I put together for the My Favorite Things Getting Sketchy challenge on Splitcoast.

I adore Flopsey. Who wouldn't love a sweet bunny with house shoes and coffee? Hmmm - need to train the boys to see if they can bring coffee...

This little embellishment is a half-flower (EK Success punch) with a metal decorative washer, Twinery twine and a brad. I had mixed feelings about a half-flower, but I think it's growing on me.

I'm boxing up cards to send off to Operation Write Home today. Remember that Boxing Day episode from M*A*S*H? I love that bit! Here is another set I put together:

I used Monday Mojo's sketch #118 for the layout, and colors from Embellish Magazine's challenge. I entirely forgot to include snowflakes on my card. Yikes! Oh well, I still like how they turned out. Patterned paper is My Mind's Eye (yellow) and Basic Grey (brown). The rest of the components, including stamps, are all Gina K.

I'm off to make some more cards, and enjoy today's football bowl games. I hope you have a great day!

All of these images are from the Le Chic Vintage set. I love this set! It's going to be a favorite of my for cards and scrapbooking! I'm looking forward to doing more scrapping. The paper is from My Mind's Eye, and Bazzill cardstock.

Growing in Unity, Day 3!

Wow, this week is flying by! Today I have just a little bit of whimsy for you, Unity style. It's a simple project with tons of flair. I love that Bohemian style of My Mind's Eye paper, coupled with the swooshes from the Growing in Unity set. They just go, ya know?

I stamped the image in Ranger Distress Ink, brushed corduroy (matches up great with the new Suede in-color paper from SU! by the way), distressed around the edges, punched a simple border that echos the paper, stitched it down, popped some beads on a string and a little bling, and there it be!
